Big News!
So at this point, everyone knows Jeff and I are once again expecting. We had discussed a third child, and every time we discussed it, I was pro #3 and he was against it. Somewhere around the beginning of this year, Jeff started thinking he wouldn't mind having a third baby either. We discussed it and decided to wait until Brayden was in preschool or kindergarten before we would start trying. Well, obviously it happened a bit sooner than expected! We are excited about welcoming a new addition into the Craig family, the kids seem to be excited too! We have decided to convert the 4th bedroom in our house (aka the guest room and office) into a nursery after Brayden told us he does not want to share his room. So our goals for home improvement this year are: fix holes in bathroom ceiling, get new outdoor ceiling fan installed on porch, reinforce laundry room floor to hold deep freeze and (possibly) new washer and dryer (when our current ones die), finish a family/play room in the basement, and (gulp) add central air to the upstairs area. Lets see how many of these get accomplished! The central air can wait until next spring, but we'd really like to get the rest done this year. We're drowning in our stuff! To top it all off, Jeff tore his ACL Memorial Day weekend and will have to have surgery probably late August. Why so late? Because Jeff never does anything easy! The ER doctor, and PA at the doctor's office both told us that he just had a bad knee sprain...not so much! When the chiropractor ordered the MRI of his knee, it came back showing the non-displaced fracture of the tibia, blood filled knee, and torn ACL. The orthopaedic surgeon told Jeff that his knee is too sick to be fixed right now, so he's going to physical therapy 2 days a week and waiting until August (yay). We're just hoping he's much better before the baby comes (which will be in early December). So that's pretty much it for us right now, hope everyone has a wonderful summer!
