Today this happened...

When we moved into this house 8.5 years ago (jeez), the laundry room was a roughed-in back porch. The previous owners had started to fix it to make it a laundry/mud room, but it was still just studs and a window. We had a handyman my mom knew fix it for "cheap". Oh how I regret that move, but we were trying to save money to redo the kitchen. So in our process to make our laundry room a more organized/happier place to be, we decided that the trim the handyman used in the corners of the room to hide the fact he really sucked at drywall and didn't know how to not leave large gaps, just had to go! So Jeff and I worked today on concealing those gaps. It's amazing how easy it was to do, and the room will look better with the dark walls without the ugly trim in the corners! Paint should go up on Thursday!!
